Meet Ms. Palmer
I would like to share a little bit about myself. My name is Denise Palmer and this is my thirteenth year teaching at Pima Butte Elementary and my eighth year teaching third grade!
I was born and raised in Kansas. I grew up in Dodge City, which is in the southwestern part of the state. Dodge City is known as the Cowboy Capital of the World. My brother and his family still live in Kansas and I enjoy going to visit.
Since I was a young girl I have wanted to be a teacher! I'm lucky to have fulfilled this dream! In 2008, I earned my Master's Degree in Education from Northern Arizona University.
Fall is my favorite time of year, because that means it's time for college basketball and I can root for my favorite college team, the University of Kansas Jayhawks! ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK!I also look forward to baseball season so that I can cheer on my Kansas City Royals! When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends. My favorite pastime is spoiling my adorable nephew Pierce.
